Determined to start an expansion process towards Latin America and address the growth demands in the North American market, the global digital solutions company Marlabs evaluated dozens of companies in Brazil and acquired Monitor in May 2023.
Monitora Soluções Tecnológicas was selected not only due to its skilled technical team capable of meeting the demands of the company’s global clients but also because the companies’ values converged.

Just one year after the acquisition, the number of professionals working on nearshore clients – the team serving international projects through the U.S. customer base – increased from 10% to 33%.
The forecast to expand the nearshore presence is based on the substantial increase in new client demand for digital transformation services through Automation, Data Intelligence, and AI.
One company, one brand
To strengthen its presence in Brazil by bringing the global brand’s strength to the country, the Brazilian operation completed the integration with Marlabs. As of July 10, 2024, Monitora began operating under the Marlabs brand, positioning itself as a single, unified company.
The change brings significant benefits to the company’s employees and clients, who now have access to Marlabs’ entire expertise and robustness.

Founded in 1996 in the USA, Marlabs implements customized technological solutions, including AI, data, automation, custom development, and service design for global companies. The company operates in the USA, Canada, Germany, Brazil, and India, serving over 30 Fortune 500 clients.
Marlabs has gained prominence in sectors such as healthcare, life sciences, and financial services, attracting the interest of BV Investment Partners, which made a significant investment in January 2022, boosting Marlabs’ global expansion.

The growth of AI positions Marlabs well as it seeks to sustain and strengthen business activities. “Since the origins of Monitora, and now with Marlabs, we have developed AI beyond the hype.
